Colourpointed British Shorthair Cat Club

The Colourpointed British Shorthair Cat Club was formed to promote the Colourpointed British Shorthair, Chocolate and Lilac Self British Shorthair and Related Series.

The most important development over the last few years has been the revision of the British Shorthair Registration Policy which came into effect on 1st October 2006. There is a link to the Policy on the main tabs of this website.

Announcements

The Club are pleased to announce that on the 21st January 2010 the GCCF Executive Committee granted the Colourpointed and White Preliminary Status enabling them to be shown at any GCCF Show from 17th February 2010 onwards in the Assessment Classes entitling them to Merits.

The Club are pleased to announce that our Second Championship Show will be held on Saturday, 6th November 2010 at Mappleborough Green Village Hall.  A downloadable Schedule and Entry Form will be included on this site closer to the show date.

We hope you all enjoyed the 2009 Club Newsletter.  Janis and Marion look forward to receiving your Articles: stories, helpful information to share, poems, in fact anything you feel will entertain and interest fellow members by Copy Date: 1st November 2010.   If you would like an advertisement in the next issue please liaise with Janis concerning artwork, photographs etc. 

The Club are gradually phasing out awarding trophies at our Club Show - therefore if you have donated a Trophy to the Club which you would like returned please contact Janis Rodwell to arrange this.
