The Club are pleased to announce that on the 21st January 2010 the GCCF Executive Committee granted the Colourpointed and White Preliminary Status enabling them to be shown at any GCCF Show from 17th February 2010 onwards in the Assessment Classes entitling them to Merits. At the GCCF Council meeting held on 2nd March 2011 the Cinnamon and Fawn Self and Colourpointed British Shorthairs were promoted to Championship status from June 2011. The cinnamon and fawn cats will go into a new class together and the cinnamon and fawn colourpointed will go into existing colourpointed classes.

A new Gallery section is to be added to this website to illustrate the various coat colours and patterns catered for by the Club. Therefore if members have any good quality photographs of their cats in Club Colours will they kindly send them by email to janis@japeeta.co.uk for possible inclusion. Please note that owners and cats names will not be included.
The Club is phasing out awarding trophies at the Club Show, with the exception of the main titles - therefore if you have donated a Trophy to the Club which you would like returned please contact Janis Rodwell to arrange this.
